I have used other knives with replaceable blades that are sharper than this fixed blade knife. However, I will still use this fixed blade knife for field dressing and processing big game.

The sheath rides high on my hip and is sufficient but nothing special.
I suggest using another carrying method instead of the sheath provided with the knife due to its poor quality.
The sheath fits perfectly to the knife and would be water tight if not for the notch.
