I found that the blade is well hardened and holds its edge. It comes functionally sharp but not well honed. With 5 minutes on a high grade whetstone, it will serve as a great little workhorse.

The sheath quality of my Mora knife is typical and has not changed much from their last upgrade. The small lugs on the inside lip of the sheath lock into the handle indentions, making it more secure than my previous Mora knife with teardrop locking lugs, but less positive than the classic Mora companion sheath.
I am dissatisfied with the quality of the sheath as the knife has fallen out of it due to an impact.
