Overall Feedback:
78% positive
69% appreciated its rugged durability, but 31% found it prone to rust
I think the product is good, but it needs some tweaking to improve consistency. It might be the humid environment of the midwest that is working against it.
69% found it easy to use in the dark, while 31% struggled with the mechanism
Fire pistons are not easy to use for many people. They require correct setup and tight sealing for proper pressure and friction.
70% praised for its reliable ignition, though 30% experienced issues in windy conditions
I found the fire piston easy to use.
I was unable to get ignition even after trying dozens of times with the cloth they included (charred) and my own normal blue jean material charred cloth.
I was disappointed with the fire piston after testing it out. It took some time to get the hang of it, and even after handing it to someone who was very experienced, fire pistons were still less reliable than a proper ferro rod and some char cloth in terms of both packability and consistency.
71% appreciated its compact size
I have never made fire without a lighter or matches before, implying that this product is portable and can be used in camping or emergency situations.
77% praised for its water-resistant design
If all other options fail, I can still use this device to start a fire. It also appears to be waterproof.
I made sure to compress the char cloth well and fill it to the edge of the sink hole based on my personal experience.

I noticed that the pellet fibers did not pull apart and fray as easily as cotton balls, which indicates that the durability of the product is not up to the mark.
