About Pine Mountain StarterLogg Select-A-Size Firestarting Blocks
Overall Feedback:
87% positive
86% appreciated its rugged durability, but 14% found it prone to rust
I have used these firestarters many times this summer, even on damp or wet firewood. They stay lit and help the fire catch and keep burning.
I cannot rephrase this sentence as it is already in third person.
I have been buying these fire starters for years and initially they were great to use. However, over the years they have become harder to light due to less flammable ingredients to save money. Additionally, they are not cut all the way through, making it harder to separate without breaking. I am dissatisfied with the durability of the product.
The product is past its use by date.
89% found it easy to use in the dark
I like the option of breaking off as much as I want from the firestarters.
86% praised for its reliable ignition, though 14% experienced issues in windy conditions
Even after chopping off a piece suitable to use, it takes a long time to light.
After 2 fires in the fire pit, a good piece of the starter log is still in the fire pit that didn't burn.
The composition of the product has changed and now it crumbles into 2-3 small pieces with crumbs when broken apart into single bricks.
84% appreciated its compact size, but 16% found it too bulky
The product is not portable as it is one big, unbreakable clump and I had to cut it up with a hack saw to use it.
I had to take a bigger section of wood to burn in my fire pit, but a good piece of the starter log remains even after two fires.
85% praised for its water-resistant design, though 15% experienced issues in heavy rain
I have used these firestarters many times this summer, even on damp or wet firewood, and they stay lit and help the fire catch and keep burning.
I have complained that the product is past its use by date and does not break apart like it is supposed to. It is one big, unbreakable clump.
After 2 fires in the fire pit, I noticed that a piece of the starter log remained unburned, suggesting that it is not water resistant.
The composition of our product has changed, causing it to crumble into small pieces with crumbs, which has affected its performance.
I am a big fan of the fire-starters and expressed my enthusiasm for them.
