About YETI Tundra 35 Cooler
Overall Feedback:
79% positive
72% appreciated its rugged and durable design, though 28% experienced issues with leakage
The build quality did not meet my expectations.
I am disappointed and frustrated with the build quality of the YETI Tundra 35 Cooler. It arrived in a damaged condition with visible dents and scratches, which makes me question the quality control and customer service standards of YETI.
I was disappointed with the Yeti Tundra 35 as it did not hold ice for 2 days in 60-degree weather in the shade, despite being full of ice with drinks. Think twice before buying a Yeti, as the quality is good but it does not hold ice as claimed.
I am disappointed with the lid seal of the cooler. The rubber seal is pinched or deformed flat, and there is a plastic-to-plastic sound when I close the lid.
77% liked the spacious capacity, but 23% found it too small
The interior space of the cooler is smaller than expected, but it can still hold 2 Yeti 4lb ice packs, 3 1/2gal & 3 quart size plastic juice bottles.
I filled the cooler with two bags of ice, but from Sunday evening to Thursday morning, it was completely water and not cold at all.
The cooler is quite heavy and large for a 35 quart cooler.
When empty, the cooler is heavy to lift and becomes even more difficult when full.
71% praised for its leak-resistant performance, but 29% experienced leakage issues
I have experienced that the product leaks and the plug doesn't seal.
My Yeti 35 cooler had a leak at the drain plug even after trying to fix it. Upon close examination, I discovered that the body threads of the drain hole did not fully form during manufacturing, which caused the leak.
My car got flooded because the drain plug leaked out all the water.
I noticed that the gasket leaked and it barely held ice in 70 degree weather for 3 days.
The build quality is decent and the rubber latches are easy to manipulate. If it's just going to sit there, the lid doesn't need to be relatched.
