About RTIC Ultra-Light 52 quart Hard Cooler Insulated Portable Ice Chest Box
Overall Feedback:
95% positive
94% appreciated its rugged and durable design, though 6% experienced issues with leakage
Compared to other brands, our product is of great quality and very durable.
The cooler's quality is just as good as Yeti and even better, despite being cheaper.
The cooler is excellent with great colors and performance.
I noticed that the cooler has a lot of condensation on the top and sides as well as at both drain plugs.
89% liked the spacious capacity, but 11% found it too small
The cooler can hold ice for 7 days in the house and 4-5 days out in the boat.
I was disappointed to see that the ice melted down after a day outside, even in colder temperatures.
The cooler seems to leak due to condensation forming on the top and sides, which drips on the ground or floor.
After 17 hours, we ran out of the 16lbs of ice and only had 6-8 pieces of tiny ice left.
92% praised for its leak-resistant performance, but 8% experienced leakage issues
I was unsure if the cooler would keep the contents cold, but it surprisingly did.
The cooler has a lot of condensation that forms on the top and sides, and at both drain plugs, which makes it appear to leak. The condensation drips and will pool on the ground or floor.
I noticed that the drain valve was leaking and requested support. I received a response right away asking me to flip one of the gaskets. I did that but it still leaked. I returned the cooler and told them it looked like a design flaw to me. I got a new one but it had the exact same issue. I then returned it and got a different one.

I noticed that the drain valve was leaking and requested support. I received a response right away asking me to flip one of the gaskets. Despite trying that, it still leaked. I returned the cooler and explained the design flaw. I exchanged it for a new one, but it had the same issue. Eventually, I returned it and got a different one.
88% found it easy to carry and maneuver, while 12% found it too heavy
I put meat, veggies, and 3 bags of ice in the cooler and after 3 days, the entire inside was still frozen.
While taking a hard right curve at about 65 miles an hour, I heard a loud thud followed by a scraping sound. This indicates that the product is not portable and can cause damage while being carried or moved from one place to another.
96% praised for its exceptional performance, while 4% experienced temperature fluctuations
I took this cooler on a 5-day hunt in eastern Montana and still had ice for 4 days even in 85 degree heat during the day and 50 degrees at night.
I put ice on 5 days before I needed it and changed it every 24 hours to get the inside cold before I needed it. However, when I put a 16 pound block of ice that had been in the deep freezer for 6 days, it melted completely and everything inside was at 70 degrees.
I noticed that the cooler leaks due to condensation dripping and pooling on the ground or floor.
I am disappointed that the ice melted down to half after a day outside, even in colder temperatures. This indicates that the cooler does not retain temperature well.
The product has fake build quality as it does not have the standard drain spigot on the right side as advertised and the handles are glued on.
