About PackIt Freezable Snack Bag, Built with EcoFreeze Technology
Overall Feedback:
95% positive
84% appreciated its rugged and durable design
I love the design of the product and its quality is great.
89% liked the spacious capacity, but 11% found it too small
The snack bag size fits 3 Medela 5 oz bottles and could fit a bag in there next to them if I have a crazy pumping day.
The cooler has a good capacity for its small size.
The size of the bag is okay and I have even fit a 16oz. can of soda inside.
I tried to fit 2 large breastmilk bags in it, but it only fit one.
86% liked how easy it was to clean, but 14% found it difficult
I find the product easy to clean and a great value for the money.
The cold pack is easy to clean and use as it is built into one wall of the bag.
I need to hand wash the cooler and put it in the freezer for 12 hours.
It's a bit challenging to clean the nooks and crannies of the bag.
84% praised for its leak-resistant performance, but 16% experienced leakage issues
The zipper keeps the cold in longer than earlier models with a Velcro closure, indicating a leak-resistance feature.
I returned the oblong version because it was more expensive, smaller and had built-in ice packs on only one side, which made it leak.
94% found it easy to carry and maneuver
I had cold yogurt after a 4 hour hike in mid-summer while using the product during hiking in the White Mountains of NH.
86% praised for its exceptional performance, while 14% experienced temperature fluctuations
After 3.5 hours in 85 degree weather, my snacks were still good and not melted, indicating good temperature retention of the cooler.
With added ice packs, I can keep items at a good temperature in the cooler, as it doesn't do so on its own for long.
Our dairy products warmed up to 55 degrees F from morning to lunchtime, despite freezing temperatures outside. This indicates that our product does not retain temperature properly.
After an hour at room temperature, my ice cubes were still frozen and dry. After three hours, they were wet and partially melted. After five hours, I had a bag of water with remains of ice floating in it.
