I purchased this chair for use inside a tipi-style tent with steeply sloping side walls where even a full-sized camp chair cant fit easily. It works great in that situation and I can sit much closer to the side walls this way.
For someone who wants to keep getting up, a taller chair would be a better choice. The chair is great for relaxing/reading.
If I were designing the chair, I would change the handholds on the frame.
