About CGEAR Original Sand-Free Outdoor Rug Camping Mat
Overall Feedback:
89% positive
87% liked its breathability
The mats are breathable and water and rain pass through them without any issues.
86% found it extremely comfortable, but 14% thought it was too scratchy
The blanket is comfortable on bare feet and paws.
The blanket keeps sand off of me, but grass pokes through it.
I would not recommend laying on the mat without a beach towel as it is not entirely comfortable due to its mesh system.
The mat is very rough on the skin and not comfortable to sit on. I could have dealt with it if it worked properly.
93% praised for its durability and long lifespan, though 7% noticed it wore out quickly
The blankets have worked on all types of rock and dirt areas and are durable. I have used them for the past few months while traveling across the country in my Airstream, and based on my experience, I can say that.
I gave 4 stars overall because I have used it twice and the wrap around the rope handles is already come away. (Note: The sentence is already in first person, so step 1 is not applicable. Step 2 and 3 have been followed to make the sentence concise.)
I was disappointed with the quality and durability of the mat as it only lasted for one camping trip.
The stitching quality of the mat is poor. The edges are separating from the body and long threads are hanging off. D-rings have fallen off due to poor stitching.
Within the first camping season, holes wore into the mat indicating poor durability.
I warn that the nylon loops holding the D rings in place are prone to failure.
96% appreciated how easy it was to clean, although 4% had difficulty removing stains
The mat rolls up easily and the sand shakes right off, so there is no cleaning involved.
After 20-30 minutes, I can rub the blanket to unclog the holes and it will fall off.
The camping blanket is easy to clean by sweeping off dry grass and debris. It's a great area for kids to play without getting dirty.
After being on the beach for 4 days, we had to cut a slit in the bottom of our belongings to remove the sand that had accumulated between the two layers. We also had to drag it to the water to get the remaining sand out, indicating that it requires a lot of effort to clean.
88% liked its compact and lightweight design, but 12% found it bulky
The blanket is lightweight and portable, and will not blow away in most light winds.
The mat's mesh system makes it uncomfortable.
82% praised for its excellent warmth, while 18% found it too thin
I expressed gratitude about the product every hour I used it, indicating that it provided warmth and comfort during camping.
Even though exposed to the California desert sun daily, the mats have not faded.
Other campers asked me about the mat because it stayed put even when the wind was tousling their mats.
I used the blanket outside for a short time and it got so hot that it burned my toddler's feet.
95% appreciated its water-resistant treatment
The mat is water resistant and rain passes through it without any problems.
