87% praised the flame control, while 13% struggled
I suggest controlling the flames of the stove by starting it as advertised and then slowly feeding it twigs to keep the flames barely touching the bottom of the pan.
Having a flame from the stove is better than using a candle or flashlight, but it's not a complete substitute for a traditional campfire.
I'm not a fan of canister fuel, but with this larger model Solo Stove, I can leave the canisters at home.
Flame control is quick and it flares up pretty quickly if the fire is built properly.

The stove is lightweight despite its size as it is made of steel.
I purchased this product as a portable campfire for car camping in places that dont have a fire ring and discourage fires that leave scorch marks on the ground.
I will use this product in a popup camper for camping trips as it is too big for backpacking.
