About Jetboil MiniMo Camping and Backpacking Stove Cooking System with Adjustable Heat Control
81% impressed by the boil time
The Jet Boil system boils water in around 2 minutes, which is much faster than other methods.
I conducted a test boil at around 1000 feet without foil surrounding the burner and boiled a full container in approximately 2 minutes and 20 seconds.
I boiled 2 cups of cool water out of the tap on the stove and it only took 2 minutes and 20 seconds.
I find the Minimo to be very fast and get impatient when using a normal stove because it is slow compared to the Minimo.

82% appreciated the durable construction, but 18% experienced issues
I believe the product is well made and has good durability.
The strainer lid on top is great for cooking pasta.
I had to return my first Jetboil stove from REI as the burner was loose and had come off the stove assembly - it was brand new and got sorted by REI as non compliant. It seems Jetboil is having many quality issues.
On the very first trip, the igniter broke indicating poor durability.
88% found it easy to use, while 12% experienced difficulties
The simmer function on the flame throttle is useful for sauting veggies with my meal.
I use the Minimo every morning to boil water for coffee because it is faster and easier to use than setting up the whole cook stove to just heat water.
I love that the stove can control the heat from simmer to a violent rolling boil and boils water quickly.
I find the igniter of the stove unreliable and finicky, making it difficult to use.
94% praised the flame control, while 6% struggled
The simmer function on the flame throttle is useful for sauting some veggies with my meal.
I compared my new stove with the old one and found that it needs to be clicked nonstop for starts and can leave me high and dry without another starter or matchbox.
81% liked the portable design
I can pack up the stove into one small unit, excluding the gas canister.
72% appreciated the wind resistance
With the guard around the flame, the stove filters out the wind quite well and heats water in just over 2 minutes depending on the amount of water being heated.
