I suggest using hockey tape around the handle for increased comfort and grip.
The bottom of the handle with the plastic latch is smooth and can slip through your hand easily. Placing your hand just above it can also open the latch mid-swing, causing the saw blades to fall out.
The handle material is easy to grip, except for the smooth end piece which slips through the hand easier.

The biggest issue with the product is the bottom of the handle where the plastic latch is located. Placing your hand just above it can cause the latch to open mid-swing, resulting in the saw blades falling out. This design makes it difficult to maximize leverage when using the axe, as your hand must rest about a third of the way up the handle to avoid these problems.
I find it difficult to safeguard the product as it lacks a lanyard hole.
The safety feature of the axe is not up to the mark. The plastic latch at the bottom of the handle can open mid-swing causing the saw blades to fall out. The handle design makes it difficult to maximize leverage while using the axe.
