My favorite thing about this axe is that it keeps a sharp edge with little effort.
I have noticed that the grind on the edge is uneven, with one side being deeper and more angled than the other.
I noticed that the blade has numerous 'pins' and feels rough.
74% praised the rugged and reliable construction, though 26% experienced damage
After using the handle in the desert for a long time, it has held up beyond my expectations.
I noticed that the blade has a slight twist to it which is noticeable when looking down the handle.
The blade has a slight twist which is noticeable when looking down the handle.
After owning it for over a year, the head of my axe flew off on the tenth use while chopping kindling.
74% liked the easy maintenance
I wipe the axe down, pull it through the sharpener 10 times in each direction, and brush off the burrs before putting it away, which makes it easy to maintain.
I have a good length handle and non-slip grip on my axe, which allows for great control while wielding it.

79% appreciated the lightweight and compact design
The item is portable as it is of a great size and not too heavy.
It is very easy to use and swing, indicating its portability for camping.
72% appreciated the built-in safety features, although 28% found them insufficient
I received the axe with a broken sheath/blade cover and the shipper was aware of the damage during shipping.
When I received the item, there was no sharp edge guard.
I spent about an hour and a half filing the edge of the blade into a blade. I also spent about half an hour honing the blade with an ax sharpening puck and it is still not sharp like I want it yet. Based on my experience, the blade was sharp enough to make a decent hammer. However, I have faced this problem personally and would like to express my negative feedback regarding the blade quality.
I like to split wood for workout and fun and this tool complements it very well.
