Overall Feedback:
70% positive
65% praised the sharp and durable blade, while 35% found it needed frequent sharpening
The hatchet is very sharp, so I should be careful while using it.
I noticed that the axes started cracking and breaking apart after a day of throwing them, indicating poor blade quality.
The axes started cracking and breaking apart after a day of throwing them, indicating poor blade quality.
The blade snapped in half when I threw it against the target, indicating a lack of durability.
66% praised the rugged and reliable construction, though 34% experienced damage
I found that the Hitdudu and Nedfoss axes are the most durable of the three options.
The only drawback of the hatchet is the durability of the string cord wrapped as a handle. It needed to be replaced after one week of use, but it could have been more durable.
My biggest complaint with the product is that the paracord slides off way too easily.
After throwing the axes for a day, they started cracking and breaking apart, indicating poor build quality.
During the first hour of use, we accidentally hit each other with the axe/hatchet and found that the cord tends to get cut. We had to repair two and replace the cord of the other two. It's disappointing that this problem may recur.
68% appreciated the lightweight and compact design
I bought the axes for my husband to train for axe throwing contests. They are portable.
64% appreciated the built-in safety features, although 36% found them insufficient
I have noticed that the paracord slides off easily, which is a safety concern.
After a day of throwing them, the axes started cracking and breaking apart.
I doubt the axe's ability to kill a large bear before it kills me, but it would be better than using my fists if the bear spray misses.
