Overall Feedback:
75% positive
70% praised the sharp and durable blade, while 30% found it needed frequent sharpening
I spent about an hour and a half filing the edge of the blade into a blade. I also spent about half an hour honing the blade with an ax sharpening puck and it is still not sharp like I want it yet. Based on my experience, the blade was sharp enough to make a decent hammer. However, I have faced this problem personally and would like to express my negative feedback regarding the blade quality.
71% praised the rugged and reliable construction
I can see that the steel is strong and high quality, and the head is truly hand forged.
70% liked the easy maintenance, but 30% found it required frequent sharpening
I had to remove the lacquer coating from the axe head myself, indicating that maintaining this axe is difficult.
71% liked the comfortable and balanced handle, but 29% found it slippery
My son loves the hatchet.
I am uncertain about the texture in the black part of the handle, which provides good grip but may cause blistering after extended use. I plan to try it and update with more information. Overall, the handle is comfortable in both swinging grip and fine work grip hand placements.
80% appreciated the lightweight and compact design, although 20% found it too heavy

The hatchet's blade quality is exceptionally good. I sharpened it with a hand rotary on arrival and maintain it with whetstones. It keeps an edge well and I have seen no wear except for the expected coating loss.
If the axe were sharper, I believe it would have performed better.
