About TviewSmart Cord Organizer Cable Management for Desk
Overall Feedback:
89% positive
90% liked the durable adhesive strength, but 10% found it weak
I think the product is a bit larger than others because of the adhesive backing that can withstand the weight/tension of cables running through it.
I like the actual 3M adhesive strips, but some other products have no label strip and I am not sure if they will damage the finish of what I apply them to.
The cable straps have been holding well both the chords and the adhesive to a painted wood surface.
I am using cable straps in my office for iPhone and iPad connections behind my desk. It keeps the cords from being all over the desk.
The adhesive strength is decent. It only detaches when a cord is bulky and pulls the strip up because it can't slide through.
I have complained that the adhesive strength of the cable-strap is not strong enough, as the charger stays attached to the phone even when it falls to the floor.

86% liked the easy adjustability, but 14% found it limited
I have 5 cables to clip in, but this may not be a concern for others.
When the cord is bulky and pulls the strip up, it can't slide through and detaches.
The cable organizer is fine for normal USB or other cables, but on very slim cables, the gap is so wide that it barely holds the cable in place.
90% appreciated the excellent cable management, though 10% found it cluttered
I appreciate that the cable organizer has actual 3M adhesive strips, unlike some other products that claim to have them but arrive with a no-label strip that I am not sure will not damage the finish of what I apply them to.
I found the cable straps handy in keeping my workspace organized.

The cable straps held the chords well and the adhesive stuck well to the painted wood surface.

The cable organizer is suitable for normal USB or other cables, but not for very slim cables as the gap is too wide and the cable barely holds in place.
91% found it easy to use, while 9% had difficulties
I found the cable straps easy to use for holding chords and they have been holding well on a painted wood surface.
Adhesion is decent, but it only detaches when a cord is bulky and pulls the strip up because it can't slide through.
I had to put in some effort to snap in larger cables, but I was able to fit all the cables on my desk.
89% praised for its long-lasting material, while 11% found it brittle
I appreciated that the cable straps had actual 3M adhesive strips, unlike other products that claimed to have them but arrived with a no-label strip that I was unsure about.
I think the cable straps are slightly larger in size than other products, but it's probably because of the adhesive backing that prevents them from failing under the weight/tension of the cables running through them.
The cable-straps had a defect in both the first box and the replacement, indicating that the product is not durable enough.
I have complained that the cable strap is not durable enough to hold the cable in place, especially with slim cables. The cable popped out of the organizer and I was unable to pull it up by the cable.
I found these cable management grippers to be great for managing cables in my apartment. They stick easily to the wall and each can hold 1-2 RCA cables, depending on wire thickness.
Adhesion is good, but it's better to follow the instructions and let it grip the material for 24 hours.
