About ZhiYo Cable Raceway 78in(2xL39in), Server Rack Cable Management Under Desk Cord Organizer
Overall Feedback:
87% positive
88% liked the durable adhesive strength but 12% found it weak
The rack comes with screws to hold it in place and has a strip of adhesive that sticks well and is easy to remove after applying heat for adjusting placement.
I warn you that the plastic used in this product is extremely brittle and not suitable for frequent changes in wire routing. It is not as durable as the plastic used in commercial/industrial environments.
88% praised for its excellent cable management
I purchased this cable rack to manage cables under my standing desk. The cables fit nicely in the openings and it is easy to close the cover.
I used this cable management product on my standing desk alongside an underside mounted power strip to hide the wires going to my various devices. Now, the only wire that can be seen is from the power strip going to the wall. This shows that the cable management product is effective in hiding the wires and making the desk look neat and organized.
85% liked its durability, but 15% experienced breakage
I am concerned about the durability of the cable-raceways. The plastic is extremely brittle and prone to breaking easily, which is a negative sentiment.
The plastic used in the cable-raceways is cheap and the ends of the 2 pieces are cut poorly, making it look rough. This affects the durability of the cable-raceways.
I am dissatisfied with the hardware included for installation. The screws fell off after being hand screwed into the table, so I had to use my own high-quality wood screws instead. This indicates poor durability of the cable-raceways.
84% found it easy to install, but 16% encountered difficulties
After installing the cable-raceway, running the cables through it and sliding on the tray cover, it looks much better.
The rack comes with screws and a strip of adhesive that sticks well and is easy to remove after applying heat to adjust the placement.
Installing the cable-raceways took me around 2-3 hours, indicating that the process may be time-consuming.
89% praised for compact size, though 11% found it bulky
I can easily close the cover as the cables fit perfectly in the openings.
The product will do the job, but we should be careful not to have to re-run wires.
The cable holes in the track are a bit small and some of my higher quality braided and thick cables are being crimped down very tightly. I even had to remove one of the teeth to slot a cable in.
I find the plastic to be cheap and the ends of the 2 pieces are cut poorly, making it look rough.
The rack comes with screws to hold it in place and has a strip of adhesive that sticks well and is easy to remove after applying heat for adjusting placement.
I found that the adhesive sticker has good strength and can be easily peeled off and stuck.
