The adhesive is very strong and can hold a load of cables without any issues.
I warn you that the adhesive tape is extremely strong and can rip the paint or wall if you try to remove it.
After 2 years of use, the cable raceways are not coming off the wall easily.
The back pieces of the cable-raceways adhere easily, but it's important to find the right location. The cable-raceways cannot come off and will damage the drywall as mine did. The manufacturer recommends using a blow dryer to soften the glue, but I found it frustrating as it softened the entire raceway and caused it to warp.
