I did not use the included adhesive because of its strong adhesive strength, which could remove the paint.
I faced an issue with the adhesive strength of the cable-raceways. Despite following all the instructions for wall adhesion, I still ended up with damage.
After a few weeks of using the cable-races, I needed to make an adjustment and when I went to move one of them, it ripped pieces of drywall right off.

I used thumbtacks as an alternative which gave me the flexibility to make adjustments without damaging my ceiling drywall.
This cable raceway is a major improvement over other options. It can handle thicker cables that are resistant to encasing and the adhesive won't pull off the wall.
I suggest using thumbtacks instead of the adhesive roll included in the kit. This will allow for adjustments to be made without damaging the ceiling drywall.
