About D-Line 31.4in TV Cord Hider, Patented Half Round Cable Cover
Overall Feedback:
73% positive
68% liked the durable adhesive strength but 32% found it weak
I tried using the cable-raceways after cleaning and prepping the surfaces and applying medium pressure for 30 seconds to activate the adhesive, but they did not hold on to the wall. My experience with them was negative.
The second and third set of cable-raceways had a lighter blue adhesive cover and only stayed stuck to my walls for a few minutes.
I couldn't remove the adhesive when moving, as it stuck very strongly to the wall and I had to tear it off.
The adhesive strength of the cable-raceways is so strong that when I tried to move it up an inch, it started ripping the wall off.
I questioned the purpose of pre-adhering the entire strip to the cable raceways, as it seems excessive.
65% appreciated its adjustability, though 35% found it limited
I had difficulty closing the cable raceways and thought it would have been easier if they opened from the button instead of the top.
70% praised for its excellent cable management, while 30% found it difficult to manage multiple cables
I like the size of the cord cover as it can fit up to 3 regular TV or Cable box power cords and perfectly covers a Coxial cable. The easy installation kit includes various joiners and corner pieces to make it aesthetic and also shields cables.
It's important to tape all the cords together before running them. Dealing with multiple cords while trying to install can be a pain. Once I taped them all up in a tight bunch, it was much easier to do a longer run.
69% liked its durability, but 31% experienced breakage
Once the cable raceway is stuck, it can only be removed with a razor blade, so it's important to place it in the exact location where it needs to go.
When I tried to remove the cable-raceways, they completely destroyed the walls.
72% found it easy to install
The installation kit comes with various joiners and corner pieces to make it aesthetic and also shields cables.
67% praised for compact size, though 33% found it bulky
The cord cover fits up to 3 regular TV or Cable box power cords.
The cable raceways can accommodate bigger cords and multiple cords.
I should have read the dimensions more closely and ended up buying a much smaller cord cover.
I tried using the cable-raceways after cleaning and prepping the surfaces and applying medium pressure for 30 seconds to activate the adhesive, but they did not hold on to the wall. My experience with them was negative.
I faced difficulty in snapping them back shut and suggested that opening them from the button would have been better than from the top.
