I had to replace another brand of adjustable strap because it could not handle my family, indicating the importance of adjustability for me.
I put locks on various places like drawers, cabinets, trash can and even the side of the toilet.
I bought another brand with an adjustable strap but it could not handle my family, so I replaced it with these Munchkin latches which work beautifully. They have held up three weeks to a houseful of kids and two adults who routinely forget the fridge is latched shut and pull on it while closed. No sign of falling apart or coming loose!

I mounted one of the side pieces sideways for easy pressing and pulling on both sides. Based on my experience, I can say that the design and aesthetics of the cabinet-locks-straps are impressive, and I highly recommend them.
The cabinet-locks-straps have a better design and aesthetics as they can be unlocked from either side and the remaining part swivels down, unlike other kinds that stay in that one position which is a bit annoying.

It would be nice if the cabinet locks were available in black and brushed and polished silver color to make them look nicer.
