I wanted a lock that my 5-year-old could use and found one that was adjustable. Although my older kids had no problem using it, my toddler couldn't. Luckily, the lock was adjustable to meet my needs.
If it fit my handles better, I would give it 5 stars.
For the device to be effective, both handles must turn at the same time. If the outside door handle can turn out of sync with the inside handle, the device is useless.

I was pleasantly surprised when the cabinet locks worked and were very durable. My dogs jumped onto the top and tried to pull down, but the lock prevented this and held up to the 65++ pounds coming down with a force of a hangry adult human.
I installed the lock easily but after a year, the plastic broke.
The lock design heavily relies on a thin section of plastic, which is not durable.
