These cabinet locks are less convenient, less strong, and less safe than using a batten and L-brackets. It suggests that the design and aesthetics of the cabinet locks are not up to the mark.
The design of the cabinet-lock-straps is a bit backwards. The anchor screw should go to the wall, but the recess in the mounting point is on our furniture side.

The plastics feel tough and sturdy, and the webbing of the straps is solid. I am confident that I could put all my weight on one and it would not budge.

The screws that come with the hardware are of poor quality and not worth the money. I have attached pictures showing the quality of the screws.

The product is nicely designed and easy to install. It made me feel safer for my 15 month old grandson's visit.
I found the installation process easy. The manual is descriptive and provides a lot of variant screws to fit it to different kinds of televisions.
I was able to figure out and install it after looking around, even though the directions were not helpful.
The installation was moderately lengthy, but it was worth the peace of mind knowing that the furniture is secured from little ones.
