When I try to insert the paper slip, it often goes above the side edge instead of under it, completely inside the envelope. This is because the glue sealing the edges to the backside does not go all the way up to the top.

The adhesive strip doesn't go to the edge of the envelope flap, causing it to get caught and stick out or fold up.
