The paper quality is mid weight and smooth, making it easy to write on.
I have complained that the paper quality of the envelopes is much lighter than the 20-pound-weight paper used in my made-in-USA envelopes. The construction is flimsy and the paper is about as strong as the thinnest-ever typing or copier paper.
When I held the paper up to the light, I could easily read several things, indicating that the paper quality is not secure.
