Overall Feedback:
77% positive
70% praised the high-quality paper, but 30% found it too thin
I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of the paper used in the envelopes.
The paper quality of the envelope is surprisingly good.
The quality of the envelopes has decreased. The new ones feel thinner than the ones pictured and the glue strip is smaller and harder to get off.
I noticed that the sides of the envelope are not sealed all the way to the top, which causes issues when opening the envelope.
The sides of the envelope are not sealed all the way to the top, causing issues when opening it.
I had trouble finding the right size of envelopes for my checks, but these envelopes are perfect for me.
Our standard business checks did not fit in the envelopes as they were not tall enough.
Putting checks in the envelope is difficult as they get caught on each corner, which slows down the process.
About half of the envelopes have the bottom corner glued together about 1/4 inch from the bottom, which affects their size and fit.
72% appreciated the secure seal, though 28% experienced leaks
The envelope has poor seal quality as its sides are not sealed all the way to the top.
I tried to warm the adhesive by rubbing the envelope back and forth while pressing down to seal it, but it still lifts up after 10 minutes, indicating poor seal quality.
The gummed seal on these envelopes is the worst thing about them. Some of the adhesive stays on the strip when it is removed and it sticks to everything including fingers. It is difficult to remove the adhesive from other surfaces, and the only way to do so is with something like Goo Gone.
I strongly dislike the glue that seals the envelope because it sticks to whatever surface the static filled tab flies off to.
73% liked the added security features, although 27% found them inadequate
The gummed seal on the envelopes is the worst thing.
66% praised the envelope's tear resistance, but 34% experienced tears
The paper quality of the envelope is good and its size is slightly longer, making it easier to insert checks without movement.
The envelope fits the printed checks perfectly and the seal is very strong.
The envelope keeps the check in place and only displays the mailing address.
The envelopes I received were not the same as pictured and of lower quality.
I compared the paper quality of the envelope with my previous envelope. The side flaps of the current envelope are only about 3/8ths of an inch (more accurately 1 centimeter) whereas the non-selfsealing envelopes I had before were about 5/8ths of an inch (or about 1 1/2 centimeters).
The envelopes fit perfectly and the windows lined up as they should.
