The paper quality of the envelope is surprisingly good.
The quality of the envelopes has decreased. The new ones feel thinner than the ones pictured and the glue strip is smaller and harder to get off.

The envelope has poor seal quality as its sides are not sealed all the way to the top.
I tried to warm the adhesive by rubbing the envelope back and forth while pressing down to seal it, but it still lifts up after 10 minutes, indicating poor seal quality.
The gummed seal on these envelopes is the worst thing about them. Some of the adhesive stays on the strip when it is removed and it sticks to everything including fingers. It is difficult to remove the adhesive from other surfaces, and the only way to do so is with something like Goo Gone.
I strongly dislike the glue that seals the envelope because it sticks to whatever surface the static filled tab flies off to.
