For my needs, the motion detection is good enough as it detects and records with immediate text alerts.
I have found that the motion detection feature of this camera is pretty good and even detects squirrels entering/exiting my gate. It also gives a nice still picture in the notification on my phone and I can click on it to take me to the recorded clip.
I am dissatisfied with the motion detection feature as it is not accurate and creating a zone for motion detection is difficult.
I am not able to capture the delivery people smashing the delivery or the thieves taking it with the camera.
