I turned off motion sensing of dogs/cats, but I still get notified of a person detected every time my dog passes through.
I am facing issues with the motion detection accuracy of the bullet-surveillance-camera. I am not sure if the motion detection is too sensitive or if the video starts capturing too late.
The motion detection is intentionally designed to ignore things smaller than people. This means the camera won't record movement of animals like cats, raccoons, opossums, and squirrels when sensitivity is moderate.
78% appreciated the night vision capability, but 22% raised concerns
I noticed that there are two night vision options, full color and infrared night vision.
At night, I can turn on the white light spot light to avoid black and white picture and the night vision is clear.
I was impressed with the camera's night vision capabilities, picture quality, ease of set up and customization, despite its low price.
The night vision capability of the camera works well when nearby walls are kept out of the field of view. The field of view and image resolution are also good.

The installation and setup of the camera was easy. The camera comes with a stand and screws, so there was no additional cost for installation.

The videos are stored in the cloud and can be viewed or downloaded through the app. I could have stored them redundantly on a micro SD card but I chose not to use that.
There are no fees for storing SD cards or using Cloud storage for a small fee.
After subscribing to the camera, all my videos go to the cloud instead of the device. I did not want cloud storage, but there is no option to disable it. Despite what the support team said, my videos are not backed up on the SD card.
I was disappointed to learn that my cloud storage with Vicohome was full after a year of use. They wanted an additional $4.49 per month to continue adding video to my library, which rendered the device virtually useless.
