I asked about integrating with popular smart home assistants like Google Assistant, Alexa, or Apple Homekit, but they have no plans for such support.

Occasional inaccuracies have been mentioned in the product, and it works only 98.5% of the time.
The camera has a crazy delay and one could be robbed blind before it even comes online.

The night vision capability of the camera is very poor and cars need to be 3 feet away to be visible.
The night vision feature is not working as expected. The camera is in auto mode and even after trying to turn it on, the video is pitch black.
The night vision capability is comical.
My camera's night vision capability is weak and doesn't come close to the Ring cameras.

I can easily check and control the status of my garage door through a simple app on my smartphone when I am away from home.
Being able to let in the dog walker or a service person remotely is a game-changer.
I was able to open the door remotely when my pet sitter was returning my house key. I was stuck at work late and could open and close the door from my phone so that my pet sitter could leave the key inside the garage instead of by my front door.
The product provides remote control, schedules, and notifications and works as claimed.

In winter, when we leave the garage doors open to let the cold breeze in, the camera will be useful.
I did not mention anything about the weather resistance of bullet-surveillance-cameras in my review.
Within 6 months of opening the garage door, the unit fell off and got ruined.
I noticed that the garage was wet due to wind and rain, suggesting that the product may not be weather resistant.
