It takes about an hour or so to assemble this toy.
Once I got past the first two layers, it was fairly easy to assemble.
It was mostly fun to put together, except for the arms which kept falling apart and took as long to assemble as the rest of the set combined.
I found the assembly instructions annoying as they combined two parts into one step for each section, which required looking back and forth and preassembling parts in the beginning. It got easier as time went on, but I felt like they took a lot more time with me than they did assembling Piplup, who had more pieces and better step-by-step instructions.

Once assembled, the wings and tail hold together well as long as they are not jostled.
While moving the toy, pieces of it broke off, indicating that it is not durable.
