About Moss & Stone Digital Body Weight Bathroom Scale
Overall Feedback:
75% positive
70% praised for its accurate weight readings, while 30% found it inconsistent
The scale is accurate and inexpensive.
I noticed a couple of pounds difference in my weight after getting on the scale in the morning and then an hour later. I doubt its accuracy and think it sometimes stops on any number.
I am concerned about the accuracy of the scale as there are daily discrepancies of 5+lbs.
The scale is not 100% accurate. Sometimes, the weight differs in a matter of seconds if I forget to grab the app. It has happened a few times.
64% appreciated the long battery life, though 36% were not satisfied
Two prongs broke off of the plastic piece covering the battery compartment.
After 3 months of purchasing, the small back that holds the batteries broke and now the scale is useless.
The plastic battery cover broke and it became useless.
After a few months of using the scale, the weight of the two batteries would pop open the cover, indicating a problem with the battery life.
I deducted a star because the product came without batteries, although I understand that it was a good price. I would have liked to know that it comes without batteries before buying.
Rephrased: Although it was a good price, I deducted a star because the product came without batteries. I wish I had known beforehand.
I noticed that the scale was advertised as new but had been opened and tampered with.
68% liked the clear and bright display, while 32% found it hard to read
The first measurement was way off my actual weight and the rest were inconsistent, giving me a different value ranging from 129-132 lbs each time I went on the scale.
I cannot connect the unit via Bluetooth and cannot change any functions without the app on my phone.
71% found it easy to operate, but 29% had trouble understanding
I found the app very easy to use with a lot of information listed.
Once set, the scale is accurate, fast and easy to use.
There is a button underneath the scale to switch between kg and lbs, but it is difficult to keep it on pounds as it changes after each use.
I have to switch from kg to lbs every time I get on the scale and it automatically switches on me, causing problems with the accuracy.
Setting up and reading the scale is easy, but it is useless.
68% liked the instant weight reading with step-on technology, but 32% experienced delay
The battery compartment does not keep the batteries in place, causing the scale to shut off when I step on it.
The scale's accuracy can be a little off. I forgot to grab the app when I stepped on it and the weight was different in a matter of seconds. It has happened a few times.
I followed the calibration steps each time after moving the scale, but despite that, I received inconsistent results.
If the first step is too far from the middle, the scale starts to tip that direction, then slams down, knocking the batteries out.
The scale always stays on 0, no matter how long I wait or how much weight I put on it.
I returned the scale because it kept shutting off and I had to keep pushing the batteries in.
67% appreciated its high weight capacity, though 33% found it limited
After calibration, I have noticed that the scale gives inconsistent readings.
I have noticed that the scale is not accurate. I have stepped on it various times to see the difference, which sometimes was as much as 9 kg or 20 lb heavier/lighter, indicating a huge difference.
I have been told that the seller claims the scale can handle up to 400 lbs, but it will not due to flexing. I am almost certain that my weight will eventually break this scale.
I am concerned about the scale's accuracy due to daily discrepancies of 5+lbs.
The Greater Goods AccuCheck digital body weight scale is the most reliable scale in the market and ensures accurate weight every time I step on it. Digital scales are more accurate than traditional dial scales.
The digital scale produces accurate readings within less than 1 pound compared to my double beam weight scale.
