About GE Digital Smart Bathroom Scale - Accurate Bluetooth Body Weight and BMI
Overall Feedback:
87% positive
87% praised for its accurate weight readings, while 13% found it inconsistent
I find the accuracy of the body composition measurements impressive. The readings are consistent and reliable, giving me a holistic view of my health beyond just weight.
When I weighed two 15 pound weights individually, they showed 15.4 pounds each, but when I weighed them together, they showed 30.6 pounds instead of the expected 30.8 pounds.
I am skeptical about my weight accuracy and check the scale next to the doctor's office machine which is not accurate. I have been using the scale for a long time.
I compared this scale to an existing one and found that it was off by more than 1.13% with a certified weight, indicating that it is not highly accurate.
76% appreciated the long battery life, though 24% were not satisfied
The scale works well enough and requires two AAA batteries.
The scale has a bright display and comes with two AAA batteries.
I noticed that the scale is scrolling 8's and goes to 0.0, indicating that it has stopped working.
Rechargeable AAAs (eneloops) are a better option for the scale as they are rechargeable and do not leak, unlike the provided batteries which may cause damage.
I gave up on the mobile app after trying it for a few minutes because it is not user-friendly.
Deleting data can take several days even for an MIT grad like me, as the functionality is quite limited.
I find the device too complicated for my family members to use.
76% liked the instant weight reading with step-on technology, but 24% experienced delay
Digital scales are now more consistent in reading if you step on-off-back on than they were a few years ago.
Syncing body composition data with my smartphone is convenient and provides a visual representation of my progress over time.
The scale doesn't sit perfectly solid.
86% appreciated its high weight capacity, though 14% found it limited

I find the accuracy of the body composition measurements impressive. The readings are consistent and reliable, giving me a holistic view of my health beyond just weight.
I weighed myself on both scales and the Anyloop displayed 189.4 while the other smart scale displayed 189.7. I had thoughts about the Anyloop being a defective unit but it was resolved in less than a minute by just removing and reinserting the batteries. Thus, the accuracy of the Anyloop is not in question anymore at least not for me.
The scale's accuracy is commendable and it gives me confidence in the data presented.
