About EatSmart Precision Plus Digital Bathroom Scale with Ultra-Wide Platform
Overall Feedback:
90% positive
87% praised for its accurate weight readings, while 13% found it inconsistent
I am hoping to address the accuracy issues that some people have faced with the scale. So far, I think it is accurate for me.
The scale is accurate and reads to 0.2 of a pound. The reading is repeatable after stepping off and stepping on again.
I explained the concept of accuracy and consistency of the scale. Everyone claiming accuracy issues but only using one scale to measure their weight needs to look up the term accuracy. What they mean is consistency. A single scale should read the same amount if you get on twice in a row, that means it is consistent NOT necessarily accurate. To measure accuracy, you have to use an objective calibrated external measurement to compare the results.
I suggest that the company should state the scale's accuracy as +/- 1.0lb (at full capacity) because it is not what they advertise.
The scale's accuracy is not reliable due to an algorithm that overrides small weight differences within a certain time period.
87% appreciated the long battery life, though 13% were not satisfied
The battery is not a problem as it is full and new.
After almost 7 years, the scale is still working well.
I have complained that the product consumes batteries quickly. Even after replacing the stock batteries with Duracells, they only last about 10-15 days at best.
The scale has been stuck on 40kg for the last 30 minutes.
87% liked the sleek and compact design, but 13% found it flimsy
I admire the build quality of the scale. It has some weight to it, feels very stable on the floor with no wobble, and the platform is completely smooth and easy to wipe down and clean if needed.
I like the stylish design of the scale.
There was a real artistic and engineering work invested on our product.
I don't fear anything breaking on the scale because of its design.
I find the EatSmart Precision Plus easy to use, extremely accurate, and engineered to the highest precision standards.
The scale has a wide platform for stability and a fast, accurate display on a cool-blue screen within 5 seconds. It's easy to use.
84% liked the instant weight reading with step-on technology
I love the 'Step-on' technology that eliminates the need to tap the scale before stepping on it.
I have found that this scale has the most accurate step-on technology out of all the bathroom scales I have ever owned. Its precision has been tested repeatedly and it never sways from the same weight reading after calibrating itself.
The scale has step-on technology and displays weight in large numbers.
I love the step-on technology of this scale and its simplicity for an immediate reading.
I love the step-on feature of the scale. The verdict appears quickly and accurately.
There's no need to step on it to turn it on, wait for calibration, and step back on to get weighed.
84% appreciated its high weight capacity
I bought the scale because it has a weight capacity of 400lbs, while most others only go up to 300lbs.
I bought this scale because a member of my household is fairly heavy and we needed a scale that could keep track of their weight. We are very happy with the scale and it has confirmed the weight loss. It has been a good motivator; since we got the new scale, I have been a bit better about my diet.
The scale has a good weight capacity and a bigger footprint.
I tested the scale with various combinations of weights between 20 and 50 pounds and all measured within +/-0.4 lbs of the total weight marked on the dumbbells.
The Greater Goods AccuCheck digital body weight scale is the most reliable scale in the market and ensures accurate weight every time I step on it. Digital scales are more accurate than traditional dial scales.
I find the accuracy of the body composition measurements impressive. The readings are consistent and reliable, giving me a holistic view of my health beyond just weight.
For me, the most important thing is that the scale is very accurate.
