About Digital Touch Pocket Scale 0.01oz - Tomiba 3000g Small Portable Electronic Precision Scale
Overall Feedback:
85% positive
84% praised for its accurate weight readings, while 16% found it inconsistent
The scale's accuracy is +/- 2g and I have observed the weight decreasing as I add to it. However, repeated measures of the same object fluctuate wildly.
I have noticed that accuracy is not an option for this scale, specifically for the feature of body-weight-scales-digital.
If accuracy is important, this product is not suitable for chemistry or precious metals, although it may be suitable for casual use.
73% appreciated the long battery life, though 27% were not satisfied
The battery life of this backlit digital scale is surprisingly good and even comparable to my other digital scales that are not backlit.
The build quality is decent and it comes with batteries.
The batteries are cheap and as expected.
I had to remove the battery after each use to stop the nonsensical pattern of behavior.
On the third use, the backlight stopped working for no apparent reason.
78% liked the sleek and compact design, but 22% found it flimsy
The build quality seems decent and the touch buttons have no issues so far.
I appreciate the design and build of the digital scale, especially the two plastic weighing pans that double as protective cases for the weight platform and base during storage.
I find the scale wonderful as it can perform the work of a larger scale despite being small.
I am uncertain about the long-term durability of the scale and will be interested to see how it holds up over time.
I find the touch buttons concerning and prefer the reliability and consistency of push buttons.
84% liked the clear and bright display, while 16% found it hard to read
The backlit display is clear and the battery life is surprisingly good. It's much better than other backlit digital scales I've owned and even comparable to my other digital scales that aren't backlit.
When weighing wider items, it's difficult to read the display because it faces up.
I have complained that the numbers on the display change as if an object is being placed onto or removed from the tray, which is not reassuring.
The product description on the box states that the scale has a minimum reading of 0.3g, despite displaying graduations of 0.1g.
The scale's accuracy is +/- 2g and I have observed the weight decreasing as I add to it. However, repeated measures of the same object fluctuate wildly.
I have tested the product for a couple of months and found it to be accurate and fine for the price. I also tested it with different weights in my pockets and found it to be accurate within 4 ounces either way.
I find the accuracy of the body composition measurements impressive. The readings are consistent and reliable, giving me a holistic view of my health beyond just weight.
The scale is accurate to at least the pound, probably better.
