This product is the answer to my problem as the old style measuring tape is not very accurate and difficult to use.
I expected the tape measure to integrate with the app and provide more accurate body metrics, such as body fat percentage. However, the reading on the scales was 24%, which is higher than my estimation of 10-12% based on body fat calipers and having a six pack.
The device is not returning to zero between measures even after turning it off.
