I have been using the device for about 2 months now and have interchanged the dongle between devices without any issues. The build quality seems decent.
I was able to connect to outside Bose Bluetooth Mini Soundlink only a few times within the first 10 days of receipt/use of product.

I am not able to evaluate the range of the device as all the components are within a short distance from each other. However, I assume it would be adequate within the typical bluetooth range of 10m.
The range is limited and I cannot say I love it.

The earbuds connect in less than 2 seconds and the audio quality is excellent.
If you want to transfer files via Bluetooth, this item is a good choice.
I was unable to transfer a picture from my phone to the computer, indicating that the file transfer speed of the adapter is not good.
I have to unplug the bluetooth transmitter and reboot to transfer photos, then reboot and plug the transmitter back in to listen to music once transferred.
