About Withings BPM Connect - Wi-Fi Smart Blood Pressure Monitor
76% liked its compact size, but 24% wished it was more durable
I love the portability of the device, but I face an issue where the BP measurement disappears after a few seconds and can't be recovered.
The blood pressure monitor is compact and can be easily carried in one hand, drawer, shelf or pocket.
It's easy to pack and travel with the device as it fits directly onto my arm with no trailing tube.
I prefer to use Omron-711 at home and BMP Connect when I travel because it is compact.

66% highlighted the accuracy, yet 34% found it inconsistent
I was impressed to hear that the doctor was impressed by the device and its capabilities.
The blood pressure monitor is accurate but clunky, making me less likely to check my blood pressure.
I found the readings from my old Omron and Withings to be almost identical, indicating no issues with accuracy.
I use triple-reading for accuracy and do some light, non-stressful multi-tasking while waiting.

91% appreciated the power source, although 9% found it less reliable
The device is rechargeable, so I don't need to fuss with batteries.
The device records readings in the Withings app and pushes to Apple Health. It can also be used without a phone.
In my case, the device holds charge for over 2 weeks.
I noticed that the results varied even more when compared to an Omron system with a full cuff running off line power.

67% appreciated the memory, however 33% were disappointed
I bought this blood pressure monitor to automatically record my readings, but it only worked for 2 days. I tried to fix the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the app, bluetooth, and wifi, but it still did not sync. I am disappointed and angry with the product.
When I am traveling and away from my home WiFi network, it is not clear how well the blood pressure monitor can store results.
To fix the syncing issue, I need to do a factory reset which will result in losing 2 weeks of data.
I have noticed high readings over the past several months.
61% liked the cuff size and fit, although 39% found it uncomfortable
The device is very easy to use and can be secured with velcro. Readings are displayed three times (Systolic, then Diastolic, then Pulse; it then repeats these numbers two more times), giving plenty of time to take the cuff off and make a note of the numbers if desired for manual tracking.
The cuff is nice, comfortable, and not too heavy with the device.
The cuff size and fit of the blood pressure monitor is normal and easy to position. It is also light and slim, making it easy to use.
My biggest issue with the machine is that it doesn't work well on smaller arms.

66% praised for its accurate readings, but 34% questioned the reliability
I found the blood pressure monitor impressive in its accuracy after cross-checking its readings with professional machines.
The blood pressure readings taken by the Withings cuff were almost identical to the ones taken at the doctor's office by the nurse.
When I followed the correct instructions, the blood pressure monitor showed the correct reading which was close to the doctor's measurement.
My larger arms cause the blood pressure monitor to be off by 30 points.

In my case, the device holds charge for over 2 weeks.
I have complained that the blood-pressure-monitor's battery life is not up to the mark. The batteries don't last for more than 6 months and won't recharge.
For the first 8 months, the cuff worked really well, but lately, it has been struggling to pressurize adequately even though the battery shows 100%.
64% liked the comfortable cuff design, but 36% found it too tight
This blood pressure monitor is much more comfortable than a cheap entry level pressure cuff.
The device is packable, making it comfortable to carry around.
The previous unit was accurate but clunky, making me less likely to check my blood pressure.

I realized that this ecosystem has compatible gear that gets graphed over time.
69% found the data tracking feature helpful, but 31% had trouble syncing with their device

Once you set up the app and give it all the permissions it wants, it reports directly to your phone.
I find that the blood pressure monitor needs to be placed just right to get an accurate reading.
During my doctor's visit, I discovered that the digital monitor was providing inaccurate data.

This blood pressure monitor is easy to use with easy-to-read white indicator readout lights.
The screen is not very readable due to the device's design.
The display is hard to see and read with a 30+ year old dot matrix display. There is no good reason for this design.
My name appears larger than the display on the blood pressure monitor. The display is limited.

67% appreciated its durability, but 33% experienced premature wear
I recommend the Withings BPM Connect as a reliable digital blood pressure cuff and heart rate monitor.
I purchased the blood pressure cuff because it automatically logs and wirelessly sends the readings to the iPhone (iOS) Health app and Withings apps.
The screen is not super readable due to the design of the device. However, I did not face any issue with the durability of the blood pressure monitor.
I took the blood pressure monitor to my doctor's office for my annual exam and it showed 20 points high.

Using the normal BP cuff positioning and the light and slim package makes it easy to use.

65% appreciated the additional features, although 35% found them unnecessary
I found the blood pressure monitor impressive in its accuracy, having compared its readings with professional machines.
The monitor is rechargeable and cordless, making it easy to store and travel with if necessary.
The cuff is difficult to put on without twisting and it's hard to do it with just one hand. Also, the device is long, making it somewhat difficult to get it far enough from my elbow bend.
