About Prodigy - 38484051850 Autocode Talking Blood Glucose Monitoring Meter
Overall Feedback:
66% positive
73% praised for its accurate readings, while 27% experienced inconsistent results
I compared the accuracy of the Prodigy talking Glucose meter with a non-talking meter and found it to be fairly accurate.
I compared the accuracy of this meter with another non-talking meter and found it to be fairly accurate.
I have noticed that the blood glucose monitor sacrifices accuracy for inexpensiveness.
I have faced issues with the device registering way too low and way too high, so I cannot rely on it. However, it is closer to accurate in the normal range.
My meter reads high, sometimes as much as 30 to 40 points higher than my other meters. It's not accurate and it makes a big difference when adjusting insulin based on the reading.
My other meter has been reliable, but the readings from this one are extremely unreliable and can be up to 50 points higher.
73% found it easy to operate
The device is easy to use and talks to me.
I found the Prodigy talking Glucose meter easy to use and love it.
The blood-glucose-monitor is awesome in quality and very easy to use.
I highly recommend this product for those with low sight or complete blindness, or for the extra comfort of hearing your glucose number out loud.
I can use the meter more often and save strips, which helps me afford to get through the month on the strips they allow, even though it has a narrow range.
77% liked the high-quality test strips, though 23% experienced expired or faulty strips
The test strip is awesome in quality and very easy to use.
The price of our product is good and our test strips are great when bought in a bundle.
The readings are extremely unreliable.
For trends, the Prodigy meter is good but not for accuracy.
When using the correct test strips, the glucometer is usually accurate and draws blood into the test strip using negative pressure.
