I have noticed that the 10x50 S model binoculars have a 10x magnification and a large objective lens size of 50mm, making them more ideal in lower lighting conditions compared to the 8x40 S model.
I can easily adjust the binoculars' variable magnification from 8x to 16x using a lever located next to the right eye-piece.
With 10x magnification, subjects appear closer and distant views are discernible with good detail.
