About Celestron Outland X 8x42 Binoculars
83% appreciated the magnification power, yet 17% didn't
I have binoculars with 8xs magnification power and a 42mm objective lens, which is a good combination of both magnification and brightness.
The magnification power of the binoculars is OK (10x).
70% of users liked the water and fogg-resistant feature
The binoculars are nitrogen purged and waterproof, so I can use them in the rain without worrying about fogging up or getting dunked in the river while canoeing.
I am impressed by the quality of these waterproof and fog resistant binoculars at such an affordable price.
The binoculars have good waterproofing and must be cleaned out to avoid damage to the multi-coating. Additionally, rinsing does not allow water to come in, as I have mentioned.
65% praised the high-quality lenses and coating, however 35% were disappointed
The image is clear and sharp.
The binoculars have good construction, multi-coated optics, BAK-4 prisms, waterproof, amour coated, twist up eye cups, and come with a case.
The lenses are clear and waterproofed.
I can easily see into shadows thanks to the brightness and contrast of the lens coating and the Bak-4 prism.

71% liked the wide field of view, but 29% found it narrow
The larger exit pupil makes viewing easier, even in bright daylight. You can see the full image circle, even if your eyes aren't perfectly lined up behind the eye pieces.
The image appears as a small wobbling circle in a dark area. I need to push back to see something, which makes it difficult to enjoy the binoculars as I have to keep them an inch away from my eye.
It was impossible to follow the plays due to the narrow field of view.
