I was impressed with the magnification and quality of lenses.
I always thought that the most versatile power for binoculars is 10x42. It is powerful enough for most tasks, has enough light gathering for dusk and dawn work, and acceptable eye relief for those of us wearing eyeglasses.
After holding them for a while, I find the binoculars a bit heavy, but the extra magnification is well worth it compared to smaller ones with less magnification.
Binoculars with larger eyepieces make it easier to locate desired objects in the FOV compared to those with smaller eyepieces at the same magnification.
