About Nikon 10x25 Trailblazer Digital SLR Camera
Overall Feedback:
71% positive
75% praised the high-quality lenses and coating, however 25% were disappointed
The lens caps fall off if I turn the binoculars upside down.
On the second day of the cruise, I noticed that the focus went south and the image was doubling through the lenses. This indicates a problem with the coating and lens quality of the binoculars.
84% liked the wide field of view
The view field of the binoculars is very sharp.
I returned the Prostaff binoculars because these are a lot smaller and easier to carry around. They have the same picture quality and field of view as Prostaff 7.
94% praised the crystal-clear images
The image is crystal clear and the overall quality is as expected from Nikon.
The image quality is almost as good as my previous binoculars, but I understand that the loss of light in 10 x 25 is the main reason for the difference.
The image is sharp and without any color distortion.
I compared the picture quality and field of view of the binoculars with Prostaff 7 and found them to be the same. I returned Prostaff 7 since these are smaller and easier to carry around.
92% appreciated the magnification power, yet 8% didn't
With Nikons, I can instantly pick up the object after looking through them, indicating good magnification power.
If I close my eye on the screwed-up side, it works okay as a telescope.
93% liked the lightweight design
The weight and size of these binoculars are perfect for me. I can easily carry them in my pocket without noticing until I need them.
The P3 line offers a perfect balance of good lens coating at a value price. Higher end models have better lens coating technology, but it's hard to tell the difference for the extra money.
The binoculars are sharp, bright, and of good quality for the price. They have a mount for tripod under Nikon emblem, are easy to hold steady, and have attached lens caps to prevent loss.
