About Saris CycleOps Fluid2 Indoor Bike Trainer
Overall Feedback:
77% positive
82% appreciated the sturdy construction, but 18% experienced durability issues.
I wanted a solid and well-built machine that would provide a smooth road-like feel when pedaling. I was willing to pay more for it. I am very happy with the device as it meets all my expectations.
The product isn't very refined and the clamping mechanism is strong, but the operation isn't smooth.
I noticed that the item has a misaligned back bar and it wobbles quite a bit. This indicates poor build quality.
The item's poor build quality is indicated by its misaligned back bar and wobbling.
69% found it easy to install
Setting up the trainer was easy and it took only 10 minutes to get it ready for use.
Mounting a bike on this trainer is quick and easy, and I don't hesitate to swap bikes out of the trainer.
Assembling the bike resistance trainer was easy and straightforward, even though the instructions were for a different model. The machine is also simple to use.
77% liked the quiet operation, while 23% found it too noisy
The noise level is a bit high and may create issues in a smaller space. However, it is manageable for me since I have a basement space.
Once I connected the bike, I noticed noise from wind and tire friction, which contradicts the product's claim of being silent. The advertising is not entirely honest about the overall noise level.
80% praised the resistance level, but 20% found them too limited
I compared the Fluid2 trainer with the magnetic version and found it to be whisper quiet with much more progressive resistance. During interval training on the Fluid2, the resistance increases in response to effort, which is exactly what I want for high-intensity intervals and completely changes the nature of my indoor training sessions.
During longer or harder workouts, the fluid in the trainer gets more viscous and the resistance level increases. I may need to shift down a gear or two over time.
81% appreciated the stable ride
I am concerned about the stability of the product as my 60 year old wife just learned how to ride. However, it is stable and she likes to use it while watching TV.
I can handle high intensity workouts without any trouble.

The automatic resistance adjustment is a nice feature as it eliminates the need to manually select between 6 resistances and change them throughout the workout. Instead, it uses the bike's gears to do what I want.
I am satisfied with the product as it holds me and my bike well. Having the difficulty adjuster on my handlebars is great.
