The pedals are mostly made of metal.
While pedaling, my feet would constantly shift around a little despite trying every style of grip with running shoes, walking shoes, and even hard-toed safety shoes. However, the pedal looks fantastic as mentioned by me.

I was worried about the durability of the pedals given their price. However, I have been using them for a few weeks and have bashed them several times while riding, often downhill at speed or while jumping, climbing hard or making a hairpin turn, and so far I have not managed to dent or bend these pedals.
