After cleaning the pads, rotors, and degreasing, my brakes worked but sounded like a flock of geese following me down the trail. However, applying a light brushing of the product onto both sides of the rotors eliminated the noise and now my forest bike rides are peaceful and quiet again.
This bike-lube is super grainy like a sandpaper paste and removes a lot of black brake material from the pads just by rolling the bike with the brake dragging. It takes 10 minutes and then clean with alcohol and a rag and bam! No more noise.
