About Giro Hale MIPS Bike Helmet
Overall Feedback:
75% positive
76% found it easy to adjust, but 24% struggled
Adjusting the back of my helmet is easy with the new version having added rubber for a better grip.
I adjust the dial to fit my 7-year-old son's head perfectly, but it also fits my own head if I loosen the dial.
The helmet had a weird fit and was too loose even after adjusting it to the smallest size. It also did not provide enough coverage for my almost 5 year old child with a head circumference of 51.5 cm (20 inches).
This helmet lacks traditional adjustment under the ears and we couldn't get it tight enough on our daughter.
74% found it comfortable
The helmet fits me much better than others and remains comfortable even after a few wearings.
77% highlighted the lightweight design
The helmet has safety features and my 4-year-old loves the color and design.
81% appreciated the safety features
The helmet has a small "bill" that provides sun protection for my eyes and it seems sturdy.
78% liked the ventilation
The helmet I use is lightweight with vents that provide cooling. My son never complains about feeling hot or the helmet being too heavy while riding the bike.
The helmet is lightweight with great colors and plenty of ventilation.
76% liked the high-quality visor, but 24% found it flimsy
The helmet is lightweight with a nice sun visor. The bright blue color will also be visible on the road.
The helmet provides excellent protection for my son, who is a bit of a daredevil on his scooter. This indicates good visor quality.
The helmet doesn't fit tightly enough for me to put it on my daughter.
The helmet can be adjusted in two ways. First, adjust the tightness by pulling out tabs near the strap and re-attaching them. Second, adjust the height by pushing and pulling on the plastic parts at the back.
I did not need to adjust the helmet, but noticed that the straps around the ears lack an adjustment area.
