I find the bike headlight-taillight-combinations a little annoying to adjust while riding. A more careful installation should solve this issue.
When going over rough surfaces, I have to constantly adjust the headlight as it slips downward.
The light fell off my cycle and I think the upper portion is too heavy for the mount, and the sliding mechanism is not tight enough to hold the weight over time.

The elastic band on the headlight stretches enough to go around the pedal assembly.
The mounting straps are common rubber stretch-hook style with added ratcheting pivots for nicely positioning both lights.
It was difficult for me to stretch the rubber attachment around the handle bars because of its size. If the handle bars are bigger than 31.8 mm, the strap will not fit.
