I love the grips, although they lack protection for the bar ends. They feel great in my hand with a nice balance of firmness and softness. They are comfortable without gloves and provide excellent grip with them.
After installing the new grips, I immediately felt a difference. The grip felt a little fatter, but not so much that it seemed unusual. The rubber compound offers a lot of purchase on the bars, and the texture is pleasant when riding without gloves. I ride with gloves nearly all the time, and they also grip extremely well when wearing them. About an hour into a ride, I usually feel the need to shake my hands out to relieve some pain. With the new grips installed, I wasn't feeling that anywhere near as soon.
