I was able to fit four 24-26 mountain bikes on the rack and it carries them down the road with only the slightest movements from the bikes, despite some reviews saying it's not possible to fit four bikes on the rack.
The rack can easily hold two hybrid bikes and is stable.
I put 2 adult bikes, 2 kids bikes and 1 trip on a normal gravel washboard road and noticed that the bike rack bent down about 4 inches. This indicates that it cannot handle the weight and capacity.
