This belt is perfect for anyone, especially for those who find rigid nylon and leather belts uncomfortable. I am a bigger guy, 6 ft and 260, and I fluctuate at the waist. This belt never bothers me, unlike my old nylon one which dug into my gut at the top and bottom of the belt. The thinner buckle was particularly uncomfortable. Although the buckle is not as thick as it appeared in images, it never gets in the way and I never feel it.
